Students share Arbor Day with Bacon Elementary School.

With their props, environmental books, and other teaching resources in hand, Mrs. Dunnavant’s Ecology students departed R-HHS to visit Bacon Elementary School on Wednesday, April 11th.  R-H students prepared and taught lessons on conservation, recycling, habitats, ecosystems, and alternative energy to several classes.  One of the lessons, taught by Kirkland Toombs and K.W. Reed focused on forest conservation. Dr. Seuss’s The Lorax was read to students and Red Bud tree saplings were given to each student to take home in support of Arbor Day and “Project Plant It”.
